This is one of the greatest groups of the last 100 years and here is a classic example of why! From the root (Bernard Edwards’ pioneering bass lines) to Nile Rodgers’ killer rhythm guitars and a supreme timekeeper in Tony Thompson, this band shines! Add Alfa, Luci, Norma Jean Wright and the master of all session work, Luther Vandross and you have timeless, shimmering grooves that other bands had to emulate. One day we will see all these lost ones again and enjoy them in the resurrection. Thanks!

I love how Luther Vandross had to have sampled this song in his song “Shine” – I thought that song was an original lol…wow I like this song! lmbo at the Tiger Woods comment…LOL!!! haha – and the bass is just KILLIN’ it…ahhh this is great stuff!
