    In the ancient times anyone could get hold of a feather, some ink, and papyrus or some other material to write on, and prepare a copy of a previously made scroll or binding. There was no talk of copyright, and if there was, it would have been impossible to enforce it. The idea that you could bottle an idea that occurred in your mind and then call it your property, along with every physical representation or “copy” of it, didn’t really emerge until the onset of the printing industry.
